1.1. The Icelandic Coast Guard (ICG) will in coordination with the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) and Tekever  conduct an operation with an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) performing Icelandic Coast Guard duties inside the Icelandic Exclusive Economic Zone from 4 ^th of May to end of September 2026.
 

1.2. The UAS is a Tekever AR5 equipped with a variety of high-performance sensors, allowing it to detect ground or maritime targets, over a wide spectral range.

For that purpose, Restricted and Danger Areas will be prepared intended for the use of the UAS at 3000 to 5000 feet and below.

Activation of these areas will allow the UAS to manoeuvre freely within the constraints of the areas.

Information on the Areas will be issued before end of April by updating this SUP and with a published NOTAM.

This SUP will be updated late April with information on the areas.
